The reflective tic-tac-toe by designer Shahar Peleg.

Shahar graduated from the Academic Institute of Technology Holon in 2004 with a first degree in Interior Architecture experimented with optical illusions & magic + using only ordinary materials with only low-tech production process creates XO & several other reflective product that captured my heart!

Hot Man- Iron trivet for hot pot. Poor man, he's constantly hot. Maybe that's where he get his name from.

Shadow candlestick. They have their shadows as base.

Magnetic vases. Made from anodized aluminium. The thin vase holds it upright position through a thin metal based under any tablecloth with strong magnet on the bottom of the vase itself. Check-out their other products

Tapes Are Back- Transparent House

Another recycled theme that i love! Cassette Tapes Lamp! See how pretty the shadows are...
This is a tribute to 'The Compact Cassette Tape', by Transparent House. Yes, yes, the 3d design & visualization studio.
The small lamps above is made from answering machine tapes while the table lamp below is made from tanslucent & colored compact tapes with all cassettes are in still their cases. The lamps use non-heated, neon lights.

The largest sand drawing on Earth

This is not what u think, it wasn't anything left by alien. It's an art work on a dry lake bed by Jim Denevan. His freehand drawings on sand.
At low tide on wide beaches Jim searches the shore for a wave tossed stick. After finding a good stick and composing himself in the near and far environment Jim draws-- laboring up to 7 hours and walking as many as 30 miles. The resulting sand drawing is made entirely freehand w/ no measuring aids whatsoever. From the ground, these drawn environments are experienced as places. Places to explore and be, and to see relation and distance. For a time these tangible specific places exist in the indeterminate environment of ocean shore. From high above the marks are seen as isolated phenomena, much like clouds, rivers or buildings. Soon after Jim's motions and marks are completed water moves over and through, leaving nothing.

Jim's work has been featured in the New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, Elle, GQ, The Surfers Journal, and Outside, as well as in many other national and international publications. -The art of Jim Denevan.

The Creative Power of Ad

Feed SA is a charity dedicated to feeding disadvantaged people throughout South Africa. By placing decals of hungry, begging street children at the bottem of supermarket shopping trolleys bearing the Feed SA website and the line. “See how easy feeding the hungry can be?”. Any food placed into the trolley appeared to be given to the child.
