'Everyday Object' Artworks by Yuken Terui

Notice-Forest Series 1Notice-Forest Series 2This is not what one would expect from a McD. disposable paper bag...
It all make sense, if one come to think of trees gave life to papers and now paper can give lifes to trees too (by reduce, reuse + recycle)!

The artist, Yuken Terui works with Pizza Boxes, a McDonald's bag, Flags, Desserts and toilet paper rolls ..."when these items become artworks, they also easily become political, maybe because they are taken from daily life. when these items become artworks, they also easily become political, maybe because they are taken from daily life." -Yuken Terui Studio

Then I assemble a tree from the cut-out-part, stand each tree in the same bag that it came from. Then I assemble a tree from the cut-out hand, stand each tree in the same bag that it came from. When you see it under the natural light, the delicate tree shows inside a paper bag, shows us the strength and the proof of existence of living tree. "Toilet rolls sprouting spreading branches are hung to create a "forest" hanging on the wall or hanging down from the ceiling. There is a moment when the hanging cut-out-parts start holding their branches and leaves on their own strength. Grippiks Surface Accents by Metremade Duo

Grippiks Surface Accents 1Check out these pre-cut peel & stick pattern pieces for your ikea's furniture make-over. I simply love them!
Design by Aussie creative duo Liz Roger and Tess McCabe (do drop by metremade for their wonderful range of fabric, desktop wallpaper etc. pattern), Grippiks Surface Accents are Easy to handle. "It uses a clever new film that grips to surfaces via micro suction, not sticky adhesive. So they can be effortlessly positioned, repositioned, and removed. Simply peel and apply. No bubbles, no sticky residue. Pre-cut to fit the precise dimensions of some of IKEA’s most popular items – BILLY, BENNO, EXPEDIT, and EFFEKTIV storage solutions, LACK tables, and MALM drawers."
