Unbuilt, yet another project worth mentioning by Gert Wingårdh, Sweden's best-known living architect with major influences on the Swedish architectural scene, is a spectacular conference centre in Östersund, Jämtland, on the top of Mount Ostberget, called Breath of Life. Mount Ostberget is clearly distinc, well-known silhouette in the landscape outside the city Östersund in northern Sweden, Breath of Life consist not only of a conference centre but accommodates a new hotel and an opera too.

Placed in the existing ravine on the ridge are a hall and arena with seating for 800 people enjoying concerts and opera. Other parts of the building will involve exhibitions and activities, set on the natural terraces of the mountain. The highest glass peak is a hotel with 240 rooms and 50 luxurious apartments providing a view of the country for miles.'
