Transition... of form, space & function. The building that rose out of the road.
From high performance concrete to road, from road to wall, from wall to roof & finally from roof to a building- The Thias RATP Bus Center by French Architect ECDM is made of Ductal, a flexible high-performance concrete.
The raised pattern of the Ductal is rather Lego-like, and the primary colors detailing the building enhance the effect.
Rémi Feredj, Real Estate Manager for RATP, said the building “helps to improve the site’s urban landscape. It is the pride of the hundreds of people who will be working there and represents a sign of belonging and a symbol of what we are all about.”
